The Billy Elliot London cast changes fairly frequently, with several different actors normally taking the role of Billy at any one time. Current Billy Elliot London Cast Members

HARRIS BEATTIE is 13 years old and is from Aberdeen in Scotland. Harris has been ballet dancing since the age of 7 and attended Cults Academy and Danscentre in Aberdeen.Billy Elliot marks Harris’ West End debut.

HARRISON DOWZELL is 12 years old and comes from Nottinghamshire. He is a keep footballer as well as dancer and actively participated in both activities whist at school back home. When Harrison was 8 years old he joined the Rollo Academy of Performing Arts and later attended Billy Summer School before being offered the role of Billy in the show. Billy Elliot marks Harrison Dowzell’s West End debut.

REDMAND RANCE is 12 years old and from Portsmouth. He has been dancing at the Marie Clarke School of Dance since the age of four and has already made his West End debut as Young Cosmo in Singin’ in the Rain at the Palace Theatre (2012.) Redmand had already played the role of Billy in a youth production of the show before landing the role on the West End.

KAINE WARD is 13 years old and from Hertfordshire. He started dancing at just two years old at the Village School of Dance and Drama and playing the role of Billy Elliot has been Kaine’s dream since he saw the West End show for his birthday in 2011. Kaine attends Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and the role of Billy at the Victoria Palace Theatre marks his West End debut.

GILLIAN BEVAN plays Mrs Wilkinson, Billy’s ballet teacher. Her extensive credits include the European premiere of Stephen Soundheim’s Road Show, Grand Hotel at the Donmar Warehouse, and Alan Ayckbourn’s Relatively Speaking at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, as well as TV roles in Holby City, Teachers, The Chief, and Lost Empires.

DEKA WALMSLEY who plays Billy’s father, created the role of George in The Pitmen Painters at the National Theatre, a role he subsequently played on Broadway. His other theatre credits include Blood Brothers and Cooking With Elvis in the West End, and he has appeared on TV in Eastenders, Dalziel and Pascoe, Holby, and George Gently.

KILLIAN DONNELLY performed major West End roles, including Raoul in The Phantom of The Opera and Enjolras in Les Misérables before joining the Billy Elliot cast. Killian has appeared in many off West End shows as well as performing in concerts and making various television appearances. Killian plays Combeferre in the 2013 Les Miserables film.

ANN EMERY returns to the role of Billy’s Grandma, a role she created in 2006, winning her a Theatregoer’s Choice Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. She recently originated the role of Mother Dear in Betty Blue Eyes, and she has made additional West End appearances in My Fair Lady, Hard Times, and Cats.

BARNABY MEREDITH plays the older Billy in the show. He attended the Royal Ballet School before graduating and joining the Dutch National Ballet in 2004. Billy Elliot is his first West End production.

Creative Team

ELTON JOHN wrote the music for Billy Elliot. Over the course of his career, he has sold more than 250 million records with hits like ‘Your Song’, ‘Candle in the Windl’, ‘Rocket Man’, and ‘Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road’. With Tim Rice, he wrote the music for The Lion King, winning an Academy Award for Best Song for ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’. The musical version of The Lion King opened on Broadway in 1998 and won the Tony Award for Best New Musical. The West End transfer of The Lion King is still playing to packed houses after opening in 1999.

LEE HALL wrote the book and lyrics for Billy Elliot, based on his Oscar-nominated screenplay for the film. He wrote the West-End hits, Cooking With Elvis and The Pitmen Painters, which won the Evening Standard Award for Best New Play. With Richard Curtis, he wrote the screenplay for the film adaptation of War Horse, directed by Steven Spielberg.

STEPHEN DALDRY directed Billy Elliot after being nominated for an Academy Award for his direction of the film version. He also received Oscar nominations for Best Director for The Hours starring Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep, and Julianne Moore, as well as The Reader starring Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes. His theatre credits include An Inspector Calls in the West End, as well as A Number and Far Away by Caryl Churchill at the Royal Court, where he served as artistic director from 1992-8.

None of those 4 Billys are playing the role any more, Ryan left on September 1st, Josh Left in early March, Dean left November last year and Scott left September last year. If you want to update it here is the list of the current cast members:
